How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the development of approximation-based synthesis methods for planar linkage mechanisms within the Kazakh school of the Theory of Machines and Mechanisms. Special attention is given to the practical application of approximation kinematic geometry to the synthesis of guiding, function-generating, motion-generating, and adjustable mechanisms. Enhanced numerical–analytical synthesis methods accounting for multiple mechanism performance criteria are proposed. To improve design efficiency, a multi-objective optimization algorithm is developed using modern machine learning techniques, including DeepSurNet-NSGA. New mechanism designs are presented, including six-link leg mechanisms for walking robots, mechanisms for lower- and upper-limb exoskeletons, and a hinge-linkage mechanism of a Cartesian manipulator with two degrees of freedom. The article substantiates the prospects for applying the solutions obtained in robotics, biomechanics, and mechanical engineering, and highlights the role of intelligent systems in automating the synthesis and analysis of the functional capabilities of mechanisms.
