How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract We reanalyze the elastic scattering angular distributions (ADs) for the 6,7 Li + 232 Th systems within the 24–44 MeV energy range using various phenomenological and semi-microscopic potentials. This study aims to assess the consistency of these potentials in describing the experimental data and to explore the cluster structure of the weakly bound 6,7 Li projectiles, particularly their breakup effects on elastic scattering. Our findings reveal that the repulsive dynamical polarization potential (DPP), arising from strong coupling to the breakup channel, substantially reduces the real potential strength, highlighting the significant influence of breakup processes on elastic scattering. The results indicate that the 6 Li + 232 Th system exhibits a breakup threshold anomaly (BTA), whereas the 7 Li + 232 Th system follows a normal threshold anomaly (TA). These findings provide critical insights into the interplay between breakup effects and elastic scattering in reactions involving weakly bound nuclei.
