How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The Syrdarya Basin, located within the territories of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, represents an important social and economic structure that contains significant mineral resources in its subsurface. Based on the analysis and reinterpretation of geological and geophysical data from the plate tectonics perspective. The current review study investigates the structure of the Syrdarya Basin in relation to Paleozoic deposits. The lithofacies and geochemical prerequisites for the oil and gas potential of the Upper Paleozoic deposits are considered. The results indicated the need for further studies in both geodynamic and geochemical directions in this region. There has been a significant increase in attention to this area over the last two decades. As a priority, it is recommended to conduct regional 2D seismic surveys in the Middle Syrdarya Trough (the Kumkaly saddle, the Zhosaly uplift, and the Greater Karatau monocline) to investigate the structure of Paleozoic deposits between reflecting horizons III–“F”, which were interpreted as a gap in previous studies.
