How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article provides a theoretical and practical justification for integrating ethnographic content into the modern educational process as an effective means of developing students' cultural competence. The work examines a variety of ethnographic materials—objects of traditional culture, verbal folklore, ritual practices, visual and audio sources, as well as scientific ethnographic documents. It is emphasized that their use promotes the development of analytical thinking, intercultural communication and an emotional-value attitude towards cultural heritage. The article presents a review of the works of Russian and foreign scholars who have studied ethnography and its educational potential: E. Taylor, F. Boas, M. Mead, N.N. Miklouho-Maclay, V.Ya. Propp, Sh. Valikhanov, A.Kh. Margulan, G.N. Volkov, and others. Particular attention is paid to methods of incorporating ethnographic content into educational activities: analysis of artistic and folklore texts, project activities, museum practices, virtual excursions, as well as extracurricular activities - clubs, festivals, ethnocultural events. It is shown that digital technologies open up new possibilities for visualizing and updating ethnographic materials. It is concluded that the integration of ethnographic content is an important direction in the development of humanitarian education, ensuring the continuity of cultural traditions, the formation of intercultural competence and the education of tolerance in the younger generation.
