How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the linguodidactic foundations of Kazakh national values reflected in the 1926 collaborative work of prominent figures Akymet Baitursynuly and Telzhan Shonanuly, “Textbook for Primary School”. This chrestomathy was republished twice in 1927. In 2025, the Institute for the Development of the State Language adapted this preserved work for educational purposes, organizing it by topics and publishing it in three volumes. The aim of our study is to identify the features of conveying national values through linguistic content in this early 20thcentury primary school chrestomathy and to demonstrate their alignment with contemporary educational paradigms. The article explores the theoretical principles of linguodidactics, the interrelation between language and national worldview, and the philosophical and pedagogical aspects of the value category. Using the axiological method, the study analyzes how students internalize national values such as justice, honesty, unity and solidarity, diligence, responsibility, and patriotism through the textbook’s artistic-didactic techniques. Furthermore, the second volume examines the role of everyday vocabulary, names of weapons, housing, terrain, and natural phenomena as linguistic-cultural units in preserving the national cultural code. The findings demonstrate that the pedagogical heritage of Akymet Baitursynuly and Telzhan Shonanuly represents a viable linguodidactic model for teaching national values through the mother tongue.
