How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract. The article examines a methodology for integrating multimedia technologies into the design of digital textbook tasks in geography education. In the contemporary educational context, enhancing students’ functional literacy, increasing their cognitive engagement, and developing skills for learning in a digital environment are among the key priorities. Therefore, enriching digital geography textbooks with multimedia elements and implementing them systematically in classroom practice is considered an effective approach to improving the quality of geography teaching and learning. The purpose of this study is to provide both theoretical and practical justification for the effectiveness of multimedia technologies in developing digital textbook tasks based on the Grade 7 geography textbook, and to determine their impact on students’ academic achievement through diagnostic data. The research analyzes the content structure of digital textbooks and explores the didactic potential of multimedia components, including animation, video fragments, interactive maps, 3D models, infographics, and audio support. When designing the tasks, the study follows the principles of visualization, interactivity, systematic organization, accessibility, and age-appropriate learning content. The study concludes that multimedia tasks embedded in digital textbooks facilitate comprehension of geography content and contribute to the development of spatial thinking, logical reasoning, and students’ research skills.
