How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This scientific article examines the contribution of Shakarim Qudaiberdiyuly, a prominent poet of Kazakh poetry, to the development of Kazakh written historical literature through his work “Genealogy of the Turks, Kyrgyz-Kazakhs and Khans”. The study focuses on the historical foundations of the information provided about Kazakh tribes in this genealogy. The correspondence between the poet’s records and established historical data is analyzed using reasoned arguments, and the genealogical information is examined from a scholarly and theoretical perspective. Genealogical works in the history of Kazakh literature represent the earliest examples of national written art. These texts, which laid the foundation for the written literary tradition, are evaluated within the framework of historical development in literature. Shakarim Qudaiberdiyuly’s genealogy has had a significant impact on shaping the history and origin narratives of the Kazakh people. The article argues that the genealogy serves as an important source of Kazakh worldview and historical knowledge. Through examples, it is shown that this work holds substantial value for national history. Qudaiberdiyuly’s genealogy is distinguished by its structured, scholarly approach and its broad coverage of the Turkic peoples’ ancestry, while paying particular attention to the Kazakh lineage. The study emphasizes its historical significance in scientifically presenting Kazakh history and clarifying ancestral origins. Valuable data on history, ethnography, historical events, figures, and legends are presented in the genealogy, and these are compared with concrete sources. The poet’s contribution to the development of documentary prose in Kazakh literature is explored from a new perspective.
