How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article contains folklore samples published in the Ak Zhol, Sholpan, and Sana publications of the 1920s. Based on the Turkestan press, the folklore activities of the Alash intelligentsia (publications, research), and the work of the Enlightenment Commission on Folklore Studies are analyzed. The purpose of the study is to collect folklore samples presented in Turkestan publications and analyze articles written on folklore studies. The methods of analysis, comparison, synthesis, and generalization were used in the study. The theoretical significance of articles written on folklore in the Turkestan press lies in their familiarization and dissemination. Identification of previously unknown folk proverbs and poems, their authors, as well as identification of authors of literary articles written under pseudonyms. The results of the study show that the Turkestan press paid great attention to folklore and made a significant contribution to its preservation. The results provide insight into the folklore research activities of the Alash intelligentsia and the work of A. This indicates the need for additional research to better understand what contributed to the publication of Divaev's books.
