How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of minors, including ensuring their sexual integrity, is a priority of modern public policy. The increasing number of sexual crimes against children underscores the urgency of this problem. Despite the adoption of national regulations in line with international standards and the development of institutional protection mechanisms, issues related to ensuring their safety in society and the family remain unresolved. Children with disabilities constitute a significant group of minors. Although official statistics indicate that this category of children accounts for a significant proportion (as of today - 109.5), comprehensive scientific research on their criminal protection and specialized systematic oversight by government agencies are insufficient. This, in turn, necessitates strengthening measures to protect and prevent criminal acts against minors, including children with disabilities. The authors of the article analyze the causes of crimes against the sexual integrity of minors, including children with disabilities. Based on the results of the study, they propose areas for improving criminal law mechanisms for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of this category of children.
