How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

High blood pressure is the leading cause of death and disability around the world. It also increases the risk of many serious diseases, such as heart disease and kidney disease. In evaluating and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, Blood Pressure plays a crucial role in determining stroke and myocardial infractions, which is why it is necessary to monitor a continuous health evaluation of blood pressure. Current methods used to estimate patient blood pressure involve a cuff that may be irritating to some patients with stiff veins. So, to save time and prevent the pain of patients that is caused by inflation and deflation at a continuous rate of time, a cuffles blood pressure monitoring system is introduced that works by obtaining a PPG signal from the body. The main purpose of this study is to develop a cuffless blood pressure monitoring system that uses Photoplethysmography (PPG) signals to circumvent these limitations. This method prioritizes user convenience and accessibility while ensuring precise blood pressure evaluation by extracting important features. This research focuses on both the development of the system and the extensive use of MATLAB and experimental analysis in different age groups. This innovative technology represents a huge leap forward in the field of cardiovascular health monitoring, emphasizing precision and ease of use. This system has the potential to improve healthcare accessibility by reducing reliance on specialist medical knowledge and eliminating the need for per-person calibration during use, as blood pressure is estimated using a population-trained regression model derived from cuff-based reference measurements.
