How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the petrophysical properties of sedimentary rocks of the Shagyrly–Shomyshy gas field, located within the northern flank of the North Ustyurt Depression. Administratively, the field is situated in the Beineu District of the Mangystau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This paper presents the results of core studies obtained from both previously investigated wells and five new wells. The new core material was studied at Stratum KER LLP during 2021– 2023. Standard core analyses (determination of bulk density ρz, porosity Kp, permeability Kpr, grain-size distribution, and carbonate content) as well as special studies (electrical properties of rocks, displacement efficiency coefficient (KDD), and irreducible water saturation Swo) were performed. The obtained data made it possible to refine the lithological and petrophysical characteristicsof the Eocene section and to evaluate its reservoir properties.
