How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Based on a comprehensive lithostratigraphic analysis, the geological structure of the Karagiye Depression and adjacent geostructures has been refined. Three structural–formational complexes are distinguished within the section: the lower (crystalline basement), the intermediate (pre-plate rift-related depression complex), and the upper (plate complex). Paleozoic deposits are subdivided into two lithological units: a lower unit composed of dark, weakly metamorphosed clayey rocks, and an upper unit represented predominantly by coarse clastic deposits (gravelites and coarse-grained sandstones) attributed to the Middle–Upper Paleozoic. The Middle Triassic succession comprises volcanogenic–carbonate (dolomites and limestones) and volcanogenic–terrigenous units. The Upper Triassic deposits include two lithologically distinct sequences: a lower tuffaceous–terrigenous unit and an upper terrigenous unit. An unconformable overlap of Triassic deposits by Jurassic strata of the Lower, Middle, and Upper divisions has been identified. The internal structure of the Triassic complex is refined, and six lithostratigraphic elements reflecting two incomplete sedimentary cycles are distinguished. The results obtained are of practical significance for improving stratigraphic correlations, predicting reservoir properties, assessing the hydrocarbon potential of the region, and supporting geological modeling and exploration activities within the sedimentary basin.
