Abstract
In the context of the formation of a climate economy and the intensification of global decarbonization trends, the role of renewable energy sources in ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture is increasing. The implementation of solar energy, including agrivoltaic systems, is considered a promising direction for enhancing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of agricultural production. At the same time, the implementation of such projects is accompanied by significant investment risks driven by economic, technological, climatic, and institutional factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze and systematize the investment risks associated with the implementation of solar energy in agriculture under the conditions of climate economy formation, as well as to develop a conceptual approach to their assessment and management. The methodological framework is based on systemic, comparative, and structural analysis, as well as qualitative risk assessment methods and conceptual modeling. The results of the study reveal the complex nature of investment risks and their interrelated impact on the sustainability of agrivoltaic projects. The necessity of integrating ESG factors and improving mechanisms of state support and financial instruments is substantiated. The findings can be used in the development of investment policy and sustainable development strategies for the agricultural sector in the context of the climate transformation of the economy. The practical implementation of the proposed approaches will contribute to reducing investment uncertainty and increasing the efficiency of solar energy adoption in agriculture.
