Abstract
The article considers the possibility of providing energy supply to the village of Rodina, located in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan, through the integration of renewable energy sources (RES) – solar and wind generation – with energy storage systems (lithium-ion batteries and electrochemical supercapacitors). An annual simulation was carried out with hourly increments, which allows taking into account the load of the village facilities: a dairy, sports facilities (swimming pool, hockey palace), schools, kindergartens, as well as the household sector. Tables of monthly load distribution, graphs of generation profile, storage charge level and uncovered load are presented. Technical and economic calculations (CAPEX and OPEX) were performed in tenge (KZT) and US dollars (USD). The results show that the optimal configuration of the hybrid system provides 100% coverage of the annual load with minimal shortage hours.
