How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities for students - future teachers of natural science to use modern digital technologies in the educational process. The relevance of this study stems from the new challenges of the modern world, the ongoing modernization of the education system, the reduction of classroom hours, and the increasing proportion of independent student work. In addition, contemporary education aims to develop well-rounded individuals capable of adapting to constantly changing social and technological realities. The main objective is to examine the implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions, thematic tasks (such as web quests, video materials, and modeling), and assessment criteria within the educational process in order to enhance the quality of education. The research employed both theoretical and empirical scientific methods, including analysis, modeling, observation, and surveys. Observations of student groups were conducted during practical and seminar sessions. The results of the observations, as well as the monitoring of the use of various digital technologies during lectures and practical classes, were analyzed. In addition, survey data collected through Google Forms were processed and presented in the form of figures and graphs. The findings indicate that the use of digital technologies in the learning process typically begins with basic office applications included in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). This use is further expanded through the active application of digital platforms, artificial intelligence tools, and geographic information systems such as ChatGPT, Google NotebookLM, Gemini, DeepSeek, and mapping tools including Google Maps and Google Earth. The completion of educational tasks aimed at assessing learning outcomes through the use of digital technologies contributed to the development of students’ subject-specific, research, and analytical competencies, as well as their independent learning skills. These results confirm the importance of incorporating digital resources into the educational process as an effective means of optimizing learning and improving educational quality.
