How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines mathematical modeling of the multi-mass mechanical component of drum-type flying shears used in metal rolling mills. The aim of the study is to develop a mathematical model of the multi-mass mechanical component of drum-type shears, enabling the analysis of the system's dynamic characteristics and optimization of its parameters. A mathematical model of the six-mass mechanical component of drum-type shears used in the CWBRM-1700 continuous wide-strip mill (JSC «Qarmet», Temirtau) has been developed, taking into account elastic constraints and internal viscous friction. A simplified kinematic diagram was developed based on an analysis of the unit's design documentation. Formalization of the physical processes in the system allowed for the creation of a system of nonlinear differential equations that adequately describe the electromechanical dynamics of the drive. The numerical solution to this system was implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. The developed model adequately describes the dynamic characteristics of the drum-type shears' mechanical component
