Abstract
The analysis of the state of industrial production in the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out. The statistical method was used as the main research method. The object of the study was industrial enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The profitability of industrial enterprises is determined by the choice of those industries whose products are in demand in the market, but in Kazakhstan they are mainly focused on the raw materials sector. The degree of informatization of the Kazakh industry is inferior to foreign countries. There is a high degree of depreciation of fixed assets in industry. Significant financial resources are required for their modernization. Modernization of ICT technologies and innovations is necessary for the development of the non-resource sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
