How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) in enhancing the strength properties of masonry structures. The study focuses on applying epoxy-coated carbon fiber textiles to masonry specimens and analyzing their effects onload-bearing capacity and deformation resistance. The experimental methodology involved testing masonry walls comprising three bricks stacked together. For compa-rative testing, part of the prepared specimens was reinforced with CFRP, while the other half was left unreinforced. The strengthening specimens' failure mode was the detachment at the junctions of the bricks, which showed joined mortar weakens. Compared, to that the strengthening specimens represent increased ductility, indicating improved structural stability. The study confirms that CFRP is an effective method for strengthening masonry structures. The results indicate that CFRP reinforcement can significantly enhance the durability and service life of masonry buildings. Future research should focus on the long-term performance of CFRP under various environmental conditions and its application in large-scale construction projects.
