Abstract
The stability of orthotropic triangular plates under various loadings and support conditions was studied. Due to the complexity of the geometry and material properties, the calculations were performed using a numerical finite difference method with a triangular mesh. Critical loads, edge inclination angles, orthotropy coefficients, and boundary conditions were taken into account. An automated stability analysis method was developed to study changes in initial parameters. Calculations were conducted for equilateral as well as asymmetric triangular plates. It was found that orthotropy has a complex effect on stability, especially for asymmetric plates where the physical symmetry of the stress-strain state is disrupted. Critical loads were calculated for different types of loading (uniformly distributed or concentrated forces), geometric configurations (angles α and β), orthotropy coefficients (α0, β0), and types of support (rigid or free edge fixation). The results are presented in tables and graphs, validated by computational analysis, and can be applied in the design of thin-walled orthotropic structures
