How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This study is based on the premise of developing students’ creative abilities through the application of the project-based learning method in computer science classes. In recent years, the rapid development of information technologies has required school students to adopt new ways of thinking and to complete creative tasks. This article examines the essence of project-based learning and its role in enhancing students’ creative skills. The relevance of the study is associated with the insufficient development of practical and research skills within the modern education system. Through practical examples, the ways of developing high school students’ creative potential in programming, web design, and digital product development are demonstrated. During the research process, pedagogical observation, expert evaluation, comparative analysis, and instructional experimentation methods were employed. These methods made it possible to comprehensively assess the impact of project activities on students’ performance. The results of the study revealed that in classes where the project-based method was applied, the quality of creative task performance increased by 28–34%; students’ abilities in algorithmic thinking, modeling, and reflection showed significant improvement. In addition, an increase in the level of group communication during the project implementation stages was observed. The findings can be used by computer science teachers in planning project-based instruction, developing digital educational resources, and improving teaching methodologies.
