How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Wide area networks, which are the basis of access to information and communication today, form the backbone of the internet. The ever-increasing data traffic, different application types, and service quality requirements of different systems used in local area networks cause problems such as congestion and loss of performance in networks due to the limited bandwidth received from the internet service provider. This study focuses on the effects of QoS functions and critical network management tools in wide area networks with limited bandwidth, such as traffic shaping, traffic control, bandwidth management, and data traffic prioritization methods, on network performance. The results obtained from this study show that traffic shaping methods are used according to the need to adapt to the limited bandwidth within the framework of the designed rules and are important in improving the performance of the managed network and controlling sudden increases and traffic fluctuations.
