How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Open gear mechanisms fail primarily due to abrasive wear. Broken and plastically deformed teeth of large-module gears are restored using the electroslag remelting method. This article presents a template designed for controlling the profile of restored involute teeth of a large-module gear. To determine the geometric parameters of the involute profile, the study used the initial nominal dimensions of the gear and the actual parameters of the preserved teeth. The dimensions and tolerances of the template were calculated, and working drawings were developed. The article outlines the operating principle of the template and the method of its positioning. The structural simplicity of the template makes it suitable for use under repair conditions. The developed profile template is manufactured for a specific gear and serves as a tool for rapid assessment of the restored involute profile. This approach is prioritized due to its efficiency, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness, taking into account the specifics of repair production.
