How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Annotation . The development of modern China and the growth of its influence are increasingly attracting the attention of researchers. Here, close attention is paid to two issues: the first is the consequences of China's strengthening and its ability to influence the international system; the second is the question of how China uses its power to pursue its national interests. An analysis of the available research shows that China has a significant impact on global and regional processes. The question of how China will influence the existing international system in the future through its various proposed concepts and how actively China can play a role in managing regional and global processes leads to a wide range of opinions of researchers. In this regard, the purpose of the study of the article is to еmpirically assess not only the evolution of the PRC's security concepts, but also the degree of transition from traditional principles ("principles of peaceful coexistence") to foreign tools for protecting economic interests and rule-making initiatives (in particular, the Global Security Initiative). The novelty of the article is a systematic comparison of the content of the Chinese White Books (2013-2019) and an official content analysis of the Global Security Initiative, taking into account practical measures to protect the national interests of the PRC.In the course of achieving this goal, the authors set the task of analyzing security concepts at the last stages of development of the PRC, assessing their changes, while reviewing various changes and turning points in relation to modern world security. In the course of the research, general scientific and special-scientific methods were used, as well as a content analysis approach. The results of the study show that changes in the security concepts of the PRC are directly related to the political and economic development of the country, and since the main place is occupied by Chinese interests, it is possible to gain a deeper understanding of the role and features of increasing national security, and these results can be useful for political scientists, regional scientists, as well as specialists in the field of foreign policy and diplomacy.
