How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article analyzes the role of dermatophytes, particularly Trichophyton rubrum, in the development of organism sensitization and allergic reactions. It is noted that, despite the wide prevalence and clinical significance of chronic dermatophytoses, their allergenic potential remains insufficiently studied. Current evidence is presented confirming the ability of T. rubrum to induce IgE-mediated reactions resulting from prolonged exposure to the allergen Tri r 2-a secreted serine protease recognized by international allergen databases/systems. The immunological mechanisms underlying the shift of the immune response toward a Th2 profile, which promotes hypersensitivity and chronic inflammation, are discussed. The authors emphasize the importance of including dermatophyte allergens in molecular diagnostic panels and the need for further research to develop personalized approaches to the treatment of chronic mycoses and associated allergic conditions.
