How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article explores the potential for developing higher-order cognitive thinking in learners through the strategic teaching of programming languages. It demonstrates that such cognitive growth can be fostered and structured through the use of a custom-designed educational platform integrated with an AI-powered chatbot. This approach enables a gradual and measurable enhancement of cognitive skills while providing real-time assessment of students’ cognitive levels. Traditionally, identifying cognitive development required extensive manual coding and long-term research. However, by leveraging artificial intelligence capabilities alongside Bloom’s Taxonomy, this study introduces a method for automatically assessing learners’ cognitive levels in parallel with improving their programming proficiency. The findings offer instructors actionable insights into student performance and the opportunity to adjust teaching strategies accordingly. The paper also discusses practical applications and advantages of incorporating AI chatbots into the learning process.
