How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents preliminary results of field research at the multi-period settlement of Kostomar, located in the northern part of Pavlodar Region. It contains layers from the Late to Early Bronze Age and the Late Mesolithic, representing remnants of the lithic industry of the Shiderty archaeological culture. This is the most prominent complex of Early Holocene lithic industries known in Northern and Central Kazakhstan, distinguished by several typological features and the raw materials used. It is localized within the northeastern part of the Kazakh Uplands and the transboundary zone of the Middle Irtysh region. The settlement is actively being destroyed by flood processes and requires urgent study as one of the most significant sites for understanding Mesolithic and Early Bronze Age monuments in northern Kazakhstan.
