How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article discusses the results of archaeological work in 2023 at the Zhankent settlement. The site is located in the North-Eastern Aral Sea region. During the comprehensive research of the settlement, which began in 2005, extensive information has been gathered about the chronology and functioning of the site, its architecture, and the features of the material and spiritual culture of the population that lived there. The 2023 excavations focused on two sites: a residential quarter (Excavation 1) and a section of the citadel (Excavation 2). As a result, new archaeological material was obtained. In addition to the excavations in the residential quarter, work continued on reconstructing the architectural techniques and principles of constructing defensive structures.
