Abstract
The article examines research on the materials of Neolithic archaeological cultures located in Northern Kazakhstan. It presents the main points regarding the historical and cultural affiliation of Late Stone Age sites, the common and distinctive features of their materials, the history of their study, and the main cultural, chronological, and territorial characteristics of groups of monuments from various geographic zones. It also discusses the origins and historical trajectories of cultural formations identified in Northern Kazakhstan based on the findings of archaeologists. The question is raised about uniting the Late Stone Age of the northern region of Kazakhstan into a single Northern Kazakhstan historical and cultural province, taking into account the minor local features of previously identified cultures.
