How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a special technological analysis of ceramics from the Telmanа I site of the Neolithic period in Northern Kazakhstan from excavations in 1976. The Telmana site I is located on the left bank of the river Ishim, 2.5 km southeast of the village Telman of the Atbasar district of the Akmola region. A special study of Neolithic ceramics was aimed at clarifying the specifics of cultural traditions in the pottery of the population of the Telmana I site, their changes that occurred in the process of contacts with other populations. Thus, as a result of studying the pottery technology of vessels, it was revealed that potters used ferrous clays of medium and high sand content during their existence. The study of the molding masses made it possible to find out that the population living in this site was quite homogeneous, but at the same time, some data show that another population lived in the site at that time, the result of a mixture of traditions, which can also be traced in the recipe of the molding masses.
