How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article introduces new research materials from the Tausamaly archaeological complex, located in the Aksu district of the Zhetisu region, Republic of Kazakhstan, obtained during 2023. Excavations of kurgan No. 45 at the Tausamaly burial ground uncovered a burial within a stone cist beneath a stone mound. Based on analogies with previously studied burials at the site, this burial is dated to the Late Saka period. Excavations at the settlement revealed that the upper cultural layer dates to the Early Middle Ages, during which the settlement had an economic and production-oriented character. In the Karakungey and Kairakkol mountains, located to the west and east of the Tausamaly complex, 100 new groups of petroglyphs were identified, including unique symbols and tamgas, which are attributed to the Hunnic-Sarmatian period.
