How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

As a result of reconnaissance work conducted in 2021 by the Saryarka Unit of the Margulan Institute of Archaeology in the Maysky district of the Pavlodar region, the Arshaly settlement was discovered. During the 2023 field season, excavations were carried out on an area covering 160 square meters. One dwelling was studied. The excavations yielded a significant collection of artifacts, including 30 stone tools, over 600 fragments of pottery, and approximately 1,400 animal bones. To achieve cultural and chronological attribution of the site, an analysis of the structure and findings was conducted. The article presents preliminary results of the research. The Arshaly settlement is approximately contemporaneous with Dongal period sites such as Tagybaibulak and Edyrei-2 (Central Kazakhstan). It is preliminarily dated to the 11th–10th centuries BCE.
