How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

During the archaeological research of the Sarayshyk settlement in the 2023 field season, excavations were carried out in the western part, leading to the discovery of extensive materials related to the urban culture of the Ulus of Jochi period. As a result, a significant collection of artifacts was gathered, reflecting the everyday life and cultural features of the Middle Ages in this region. Methods and techniques of excavation, including the stratigraphic removal of cultural layers and the detailed study of discovered structures, were applied to accurately determine and chronicle the development of urban culture in this area. The discovered artifacts and structures were documented and analyzed to interpret their significance in the context of the history and culture of Sarayshyk. The archaeological finds indicate that the city began functioning in the 11th–12th centuries and reached its peak in the 13th–14th centuries, corresponding to the period of the Ulus of Jochi. The obtained data provide valuable information about urban life and its evolution in this territory during different historical periods.
