Abstract
The article presents the materials of field work obtained during the rescue (protection) measures on the kurgan of the early iron age Beryozovsky, which falls within the zone of residential buildings in the Solnechny-2 microdistrict (suburbs of Petropavlovsk). A full range of rescue (protection) works with photo- and drawing-graphic fixation of the monument, stratigraphy analysis, creation of a basis for orthophoto plan, obtaining samples for naturalscientific analyses were carried out at the site. The conducted research allowed to define new and verify the known information about the peculiarities of world outlook and funeral rituals of the nomadic population of the foreststeppe zone of Northern Kazakhstan during the Early Iron Age. The presented article introduces information on the structural features of the grave structure, burial chamber, as well as material finds discovered during archaeological excavations, which allowed to date the Beryozovsky kurgan to 4th–2nd centuries BCE. ерекшеліктері, сонымен қатар Берёзовский обасын б.д.д.
