How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the availability of jobs for women in Kazakhstan as a combination of quantitative involvement in employment. The aim of the work is to identify the main structural and institutional constraints that support gender differences in the labor market. The research base includes indicators from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan and analytical reviews for 2018-2024. The study uses comparative and structural analysis of employment, unemployment, gender pay gap, industry and regional differences. Despite the high representation of women in the labor force, the employment and wage gap remains in favor of men. The most pronounced differences are reflected in capital-intensive and high-income sectors, as well as in resource-oriented regions. The dynamics of integral indicators after deterioration during the pandemic shocks demonstrates partial stabilization. At the same time, there remains a wage gap and a higher unemployment rate among women, indicating the structural nature of the problem. The practical significance of the research lies in the formation of scientifically based approaches to the development of public policy aimed at increasing women's access to productive employment. A special emphasis is placed on the development of institutional and social infrastructure that ensures the combination of professional activities and family responsibilities. An essential mechanism for the reproduction of inequality is segmentation by type of employment, manifested in a tendency to low-income self-employment and forms of work. Such forms of employment reduce the predictability of income and the level of social protection.
