How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article explores the expression of Alash ideas in the works of Almagambet Ospanuly (1886–1966), a distinguished poet and public figure from Torgai. While many leaders of the Alash movement have become widely recognized since Kazakhstan’s independence, the contributions of figures such as А. Ospanuly remain understudied. Particular attention is given to his correspondence with prominent Alash leaders, Akhmet Baitursynov and Myrzakyp Dulatov, which underscores his active civic engagement even during periods of exile and repression. Although much of his literary work remained unpublished for decades, А. Ospanuly left a lasting impact on the spiritual and cultural life of his community, fostering national consciousness and the ideals of enlightenment. The article examines not only the artistic qualities of his writings but also the historical and cultural context in which he created, highlighting his role in disseminating Alash ideals among the Kazakh intelligentsia and the broader society. This study emphasizes the significance of investigating lesser-known figures of the Alash movement to gain a fuller understanding of Kazakhstan’s literary and historical heritage.
