How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article offers a detailed analysis of the current automatic and semi-automatic locking systems used in Kazakhstan's railways. It highlights the significant limitations of SAB relay systems, which prevent them from effectively addressing the modern challenges of the railway industry. As a solution, a new integrated KZ-MSAB-MA system with intelligent control functions is proposed. This system presents several advantages over conventional solutions, including highly accurate track condition monitoring, automation of train arrival control, a reduction in accident risk, faster train arrival confirmation, increased line capacity, and optimized railway infrastructure management. Additionally, it lowers maintenance costs by utilizing modern technologies and automation, fosters the development of the domestic industry, and reduces reliance on imported components, ensuring the reliable and safe operation of railway infrastructure. The implementation of the KZ-MSAB-MA system will modernize Kazakhstan's railway sector, enhance its competitiveness, and improve train safety.
