How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the effects of climate change on soil conditions and agricultural product quality in Kazakhstan. The impacts of climatic factors such as rising temperatures, changes in precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events on the chemical composition, physical properties, and biological activity of soils are analyzed. The research findings reveal that soil degradation, a decline in humus content, and salt accumulation have negative effects on crop yield and the nutritional value of agricultural products. Furthermore, climate change has been found to cause reductions in unit crop mass as well as in the protein, vitamin, and micronutrient contents of cereal, vegetable, and melon–watermelon crops. Adaptation strategies such as the use of drought-resistant varieties, application of organic fertilizers, agroforestry measures, optimization of irrigation, and monitoring of soil conditions are discussed. The findings emphasize the importance of holistic approaches for the sustainable management of soil resources and enhancing agricultural resilience under climate change conditions.
