How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Kazakhstan's ability to ensure effective implementation of preventive policy in the sphere of interethnic relations is a significant factor in the stability of statehood. The article states, including with the support of an expert survey, the lack of qualified mediators. It is proved that it is relevant to strengthen the work on training qualified mediators within the framework of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan (APK). Among the main areas of activity of mediators that require improvement: strengthening international cooperation in the aspect of training mediators; development of relevant international programs and advanced training courses for mediators within the framework of the higher professional education system, etc. Additionally, it should be noted that the institutionalization of mediation activities in the field of interethnic relations contributes to reducing conflict potential and fostering a culture of dialogue in society. Empirical studies demonstrate that professional mediation is an effective tool for the early identification and prevention of latent interethnic tensions. In this context, the introduction of unified standards for mediator training based on international best practices and adapted to Kazakhstan’s socio-cultural realities appears to be particularly important. Strengthening the scientific and methodological support of mediators’ activities will enhance the effectiveness of the state’s preventive policy and promote social cohesion.
