How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article explores the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the study of vocabulary and their application in teaching foreign (Russian) language within the context of modern higher education. A key direction for enhancing the language teaching process in technical universities is the focus on the professional training of future specialists capable of solving professionally oriented tasks. The relevance of the research lies in its potential to enhance the effectiveness of Russian language instruction aimed at developing students’ professional competence through the integration of ICT. The use of ICT within the cognitive space is considered as a computer-mediated organization of the educational environment and communication, designed to foster the professional competence of technical university students. ICT tools are shown to stimulate students’ cognitive activity, foster positive motivation, support differentiated instruction, and improve the evaluation of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
