How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The analog-to-digital path represents one of the key components in signal jitter analyzers used in fiber-optic transmission systems, significantly defining their performance limits in terms of dynamic range. To enhance the dynamic range of such analyzers, a technique involving random switching between conversion channels within the analog-to-digital path has been proposed, followed by frequency-domain processing of the output signals. A structural diagram of a parallel analog-to-digital path incorporating random channel switching has been developed. The efficiency analysis of the proposed method demonstrates that it enables an extension of the dynamic range of an 11-bit parallel analog-to-digital path by 8 to 14dB, depending on the level of timing instability present in the output signal of the converter.
