How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the effect of a premix supplement on the growth performance and productivity of Edilbay ram lambs during fattening. Traditional feeding based on coarse forage and grain products often results in a deficiency of minerals and vitamins necessary for normal physiological development. To address these deficiencies, a premix containing macro- and microelements (P, S, Mg, Zn, I, Mn, Se) and vitamins (D, C) was added to the basal diet. The study was conducted over a 90-day grazing period on two groups of 10 ram lambs each: a control group and an experimental group. The experimental group received the basal diet supplemented with the premix. Results demonstrated that the experimental lambs achieved higher live weight, daily weight gain, and slaughter parameters compared to the control group. Notably, an increase in fat-tail and fat depots was observed. Overall, the study shows that including a mineral-vitamin premix in the diet improves the growth rate, slaughter yield, and overall productivity of Edilbay ram lambs.
