How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The issues of protecting reinforcement steel in reinforced concrete structures from corrosion are considered. During the study, a new powder anti-corrosion composition was proposed, applied using an electrostatic spraying method and polymerising at a certain temperature, with the aim of protecting the reinforcement. The proposed composition consists of epoxy paint (EK-201), corrosion inhibitor (VNKh-L-20) and polyphenylene sulphide (PFS-L). As a result of practical tests, the time for uniform distribution of the powder composition, spraying modes and temperature parameters were determined. The resulting coating maintains the reinforcement in a passive state and effectively protects it from corrosive effects. It has been established that during long-term operation of buildings and structures, the formation of cracks in concrete, cavities and chips leads to the exposure of reinforcement and the development of the corrosion process. To address this problem, a new powder anti-corrosion composition has been developed. The coating contains epoxy paint EK-201 (50–70%), corrosion inhibitors VNH-L-20 (0.1–0.6%) and polyphenylene sulphide PFS-L (30–50%). Tests determined the optimal mixing time, spraying modes and temperature parameters. It was proven that the resulting coating keeps the reinforcement in a passive state and significantly slows down the effects of corrosion. The proposed technology allows increasing the durability of reinforced concrete structures and reducing repair costs, being applied by electrostatic spraying and polymerising at a certain temperature.
