How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Laser pulses of extremely short femto- and attosecond durations are highly effective tools in the study of ultrafast processes, whose accurate description requires precise knowledge of ultrashort pulse characteristics. This can be achieved through the implementation and improvement of advanced diagnostic techniques. In this work, we experimentally implemented a method based on frequency-resolved optical gating using second-harmonic generation (FROG-SHG), which was optimized by the authors through the integration of an automated system that enabled both real-time data acquisition and processing, as well as a feedback module linked to the laser system. This made it possible to immediately visualize pulse characteristics without the need for post-processing, enhance measurement accuracy, and minimize human error. The use of the optimized FROG-SHG technique is essential for research involving femto- and attosecond pulse radiation.
