How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Al-Fe-Si alloys, which are metal-ceramic materials and have a high level of iron and silicon, demonstrate high potential for application in industries where wear resistance, heat resistance and weight reduction are critical. This study examines the effect of heat treatment modes on the microstructure and deformation characteristics of an additively produced Al- Fe-Si alloy. Electron microscopic analysis allowed us to establish the transformations of intermetallic phases (β, θ and α), as well as their effect on the morphology and distribution in the aluminum matrix. The results of compression tests showed a significant dependence of mechanical properties on the state of the microstructure: the alloy after quenching demonstrates the highest strength, while aging contributes to the redistribution of intermetallic compounds and a decrease in strength characteristics while maintaining high ductility. It was found that the nature of deformation is due to phase transformations and the evolution of the grain structure.
