How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A 68-year-old asian man was admitted with decompensated chronic heart failure with a left ventricular ejection fraction of 20%, permanent arterial fibrillation, and chronic kidney disease. Sacubitril/Valsartan (Uperio) was prescribed. This review details the initiation of sacubitril/valsartan in an Asian patient with heart failure with low ejection fraction (20%) and comorbidities. The paper highlights the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic profiles of Sacubitril/Valsartan. The focus is on a thorough review of clinical trials to assess the therapeutic efficacy and potential adverse events associated with Sacubitril/Valsartan administration in this specific patient group. Since 2014, sacubitril/valsartan has been widely prescribed for heart failure. Nevertheless, the coexistence of additional diseases such as arthritis, renal insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, or chronic lung disease with the heart failure syndrome should logically require a modification of treatment, outcome assessment, or follow-up care.
