How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The analysis of the existing experimental data on the elastic scattering of α -particles and 3 He on 9 Be nuclei in a wide energy range (18–100 MeV) is carried out using the optical model of the nucleus. Optimal parameters of optical potentials are found. With these potentials, the measured angular distributions of elastic and inelastic scattering at α-particle energies of 45 and 50 MeV and 3 He with energies of 50 and 60 MeV with excitation of collective states of 2.429 MeV (5/2 − ) and 6.38 MeV (7/2 − ) of the 9 Be nucleus were analyzed using the coupled channel method. The values of the quadrupole deformation parameters are extracted. The contribution of the cluster structure and the mechanism of cluster exchange 5 He and 6 He to the excitation of the nucleus is estimated.
