How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the structural features of congenital malformations identified in the period from 2020 to 2024 among live births in the Turkestan region, and their dynamics. The purpose of the study is to assess the epidemiological situation in the region by analyzing the main types, frequency indicators and changes in the congenital malformationsover the years. According to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), defects were grouped into 12 main systems and the absolute and relative frequencies, average values, median, standard deviation and coefficients of change for each system were calculated. It was found that malformations of the circulatory system are among the most frequently recorded pathologies, whereas malformations of the genital organs and other rare forms occur much less frequently. In 2024, there was a sharp increase in malformations of the cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system, which indicates the influence of environmental and socio-biological factors in the region. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of statistical methods based on the assessment of changes in congenital malformationsand highlights the importance of these data for improving perinatal diagnostics and preventive measures. Keywords:congenital malformations, Turkestan region, structural analysis, statistical methods, circulatory system, diagnosis, epidemiology.
