How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is dedicated to analyzing the current trends and challenges faced by the global and Kazakhstan polymer industries. It discusses key areas of technological development, including the creation of biodegradable and functional polymers, the application of nanotechnologies, 3D printing, as well as plastic waste recycling methods in the context of a circular economy. Special attention is given to chemical and biological recycling, their future prospects, and limitations related to energy and economic factors. The importance of the "ecological shift" concept in the transition to sustainable materials and technologies is highlighted. Against the backdrop of global changes, the article examines the features of the Kazakhstan polymer market, including the launch of new productions and efforts to reduce import dependence. The article raises the necessity for scientific research, investment, and regulatory support for the sustainable development of the industry. The conclusions emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach combining technological innovations, environmental responsibility, and international cooperation to form a competitive, safe, and sustainable polymer industry of the future.
