How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Climate change is linked to energy supply. In the Persian Gulf country of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), water and energy conservation issues are crucial for ensuring food security and sustainable development of the agricultural sector. This article analyzes the relationship between water and energy resources in UAE agriculture, drawing on scientific publications and analytical reviews. It examines factors influencing water consumption and sustainable development strategies applied in the UAE's agricultural sector. The experiences of the UAE, particularly Morocco and Jordan, are used to analyze general and regional energy consumption trends. The results of this analysis show that the main factors affecting sustainable resource use are water consumption, labor costs, and the need to implement modern irrigation and energy harvesting technologies. This study may be useful for developing strategies for sustainable agricultural development in mountainous regions.
