How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics and regional characteristics of poverty across the regions of Kazakhstan. The main objective of the study is to describe the changes in poverty levels and identify the key socioeconomic factors influencing these changes. The research methodology includes time-series and comparative analysis, correlation and regression modeling, as well as the application of Granger causality and VAR forecasting methods. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of quantitative models that describe the relationships between factors affecting poverty, while accounting for regional specificities. The findings reveal that poverty is closely associated not only with income levels but also with unemployment, population density, and the state of infrastructure. To ensure the effective implementation of poverty reduction policies, comprehensive and regionally differentiated approaches are proposed.
